Last 1st and 2nd of July, DUNA attended the III conference on Energy and Education in Catalonia, to discuss the role of nuclear energy in the struggle for climate change. The location chosen for its realization was the ENDESA building that corresponds to the old Central Catalan electricity.
The conference was aimed at education professionals through two practical workshops on the first day, one of them devoted to knowledge management and the other dedicated to the ICT tools applicable in the classroom. These were completed with two optional external visits and specific facilities.
The second part of the day scheduled for July 2nd, collected a whole cycle of lectures and lectures given by professionals from the sector at national and international level. From different points of view, they made known the nuclear energy as a tool to fight against climate change and counteract their effects, due to the low level of emissions generated by it.
The third edition of these days, had the aim of educating in nuclear energy and facilitate knowledge and ideas on a regulated and controlled energy, dislinking it of the stereotypes that usually determine it.
