Like years ago, DUNA attended the Summit on technological innovation in the educational field It World Edu that this year has celebrated its edition No. 11 on the 16th and 17th of May.
We had the opportunity to attend lectures in which, the highest representatives of this sector informed us of all the advances and novelties that emerge continuously and how we can use them.
In this edition, emphasis was placed on ICTS and its power as a complement and as a transversal tool that allows us to work on all subjects of the educational curriculum from an innovative perspective.
One of the most enriching lectures was that of the University of Newcastle’s educational technology teacher, Sugata Mitra. For 25 years it has been investigating the impact that has had internet and new technologies in the learning of children, and how they are able to create a self-organized learning group, applied to formal and informal contexts that gives as a Results, an emergent learning that allows them to attain objectives by themselves.
